Engi's Temporary Replacement by classicEIGHT Engi's Temporary Replacement by classicEIGHT
Emphasis on "Temorary".

Had this little idea after a bunch of the 'fella's' had been heckling me over my Halloween costume. I went as the engi - and to folks who aren't terribly aware of TF2, its just a grown up's Bob the Builder costume. But they knew... they knew...
Jerk asses.

Heee, thanks! Believe it or not, the first time I came up with this idea, I drew it on a dry-erase board one day - HUGE- for whatever class was next in that room, a couple years back.

Perhaps his animate tools could warn him of the impending danger? Yes I have a nephew and yes I have seen the show at least once. His tools talk and move all on there own. They could be building a talking sentry while he is talking with his shotgun across the map. hmm... the possibilities. Then again maybe I am thinking to far into this. I am known to do that.

Ha! thats the best thing ever! I remember falling in love with this game when it first came out -so much to the point that I found a kick ass 21 inch Monkey Wrench on ebay. it weighs 16 lbs and cost 11 bucks. It ties the outfit together.

And I thought giving a crowbar (and a copy of the Zombie Survival Guide) for a birthday present made me the weirdest person on earth :P That's a pretty awesome monkey wrench though.

weirdest person on earth? No sir. You have to contend with me for that title. Its one thing to BUY someone else a copy of the ZSG, its another thing for someone to buy it for you - just goes to show how brimming over the top you'd have to be. 'course, its not much of a secret... seems that each time my friends and I get together conversation leads to planning for a global infection.
It doesn't help that I wear a big fuzzy orange Jayne Cobb hat.
Get one of those, and we'll be best friends. Partners in crime. Mano... e... mano?

A challenge I see! Firefly!! :D I really want to get one of those >.>

I have a zombie kit in my car. No, I have my entire zombie kit in the back of my car. It's pretty awesome knowing I'm ready for the infection at any time :P

You should save up about 30 bucks, head on over to Ma Cobb's Hat Shop and grab one. It costs a little bit, but it comes in an Allied Postal Service box along with a hand written letter from Ma Cobb. [link]
Fun times.

I may not have a Zombie Kit in my car, But somehow ever new city I've lived in - I have a plan. Places to go, when to go there and so on. The plan doesn't vary much from place to place - all the same basics just different places to hole up. That, and each of my friends know that if they get the text "Situation Zed", its ON. Quite possibly, like the movie Tron. Or even, Donkey Kong.

I am so doing that! The box it comes in is half the awesomeness :P

Plans are very good to have. A crowbar, food and gear shoved in the back seat is better :P I do have a number of friends to lean on in a zombie apocalypse. bring a rifle to a gun fight and bring as many friends as you can. Best if they have rifles too :P THe number of people I'd trust with a rifle around me is fairly small though

See, thats where I'm lucky to live in hickville, Texas. A gun in every house (at LEAST), two gun stores, small population to control upon an outbreak. Not to mention that a big part of my childhood was shooting shit. Last time I went plinking I used 3 16 round clips to put a hole in a target that I could put my fist through. Not bad considering I'm worse with a pistol than a rifle.

Of course, there are plenty of advantages in a small town too, large trucks, a town square that can be easily barricaded at the only 4 corners, hundreds of rednecks with guns (which could be good or bad as you take it). All sortsa neat crap. Not to mention that at this moment I'm no more than 5 feet away from 3 guns, no more than 20 yards from 17 more and a block further than that is a gun store.

and always remember, semi automatic .22 rifle. That way you can shoot as little or as much as you need and carry about 150 rounds in a front pocket. Who wants to be stuck in a hoard with a fucking BOLT action? Hell with that.
